In Welsh myth, Angharad Goldenhand is the lover of Peredur. Her name means "more love", or "greatly loved one". Maybe the fireflies haloing her head are actually faeries...

I'm not sure if that was deliberate on your part or not, but I really like the effect! She looks very delicate, and her dress is very nice as well... (Hehe, and I've only heard one song by Elbow, but it's pretty catchy. I'll listen out for this one, too...) Elizabeth Z. Johnk replies: "A great many thanks. >^_^< The original drawing was very light, apparently too light-- when I scanned it, she came out even lighter. I glad you like it, though! My main focus was her facial features, and I'm pleased with how they turned out."
